Theory of Multi-boundary Rock Blasting and Its Application

Based on the interaction of explosive energy and mediums potential energy and the effective control of surplus explosive energy on its surrounding environment in different terrains, multi-boundary rock blasting is a theoretical system which develops engineering blasting theory from a simple one boundary to multi-boundaries. Deep-hole controlled blasting used in high slope cutting of a road is discussed in this paper based on the theory of multi-boundary rock blasting. Due to the fact that the landform and geological conditions are full considered in the calculation of explosive loads, high slope blasting is under effective control. Meanwhile, since the technique of millisecond delay blasting is adopted the vibration monitoring shows that there is no damage to the buildings nearby the road.
