Prediction of Damage Zone by Smooth Blasting in Jointed Mudstone Slope

摘要：

Prediction of the damage zone by smooth blasting is important. The paper put out an updated prediction method of the damage zone adopted in the jointed mudstone slope by PPV. Based on the observed data of smooth blasting in a mudstone slope, the paper compared the effects of different parameters to the smooth blasting in the mudstone slope and predicted the damage zone. Finally, the paper obtained the limit of the vertical velocity of the vibration by smooth blasting in jointed mudstone slope and gave the improvement measures of improving the effect of the smooth blasting.
