Principles and Methods for the Assessment of Hollow Charge Efficiency in Well Perforating Systems
The most common method of opening and the intensification of flows of hydrocarbons in the oil and gas wells is a prostrelochno-blasting operations using perforating systems, fitted with hollow charges (HCh). The Rostekhnadzor (Russian Industrial Safety Inspectorate) has taken a decision to undertake the development of the uniform system of charge test methods and procedures and to realize it at the autonomous test site.According to the existing rules the approval of explosive materials for application in the territory of Russia is provided via a stepwise process:· check-out (laboratory and ground)tests;· field tests (preliminary and/or acceptance tests).
