Use of Nano-and Microtechnologies for the Improvement of Safety and Efficiency of Production and Application of Commercial Ezplosives

The paper presents the principal results of the research into the efficiency of the application of wave methods of treatment (ultrasonic and by pulsed magnetic fields with an irregular space-time structure) of commercial explosive ingredients. The main idea and objective of this research is the development of technologies and compositions of explosives, which provide for the minimization of chemical losses of explosive conversion and harmful environmental effect of explosions, increasing the share of blast energy spent for the useful effect: ground displacement or rock fragmentation. Classification of methods of explosive characteristics management for commercial explosives has been developed. Based on the results of fundamental and applied research a strategy has been worked out for the perfection of explosive compositions and fabrication technologies, including the application of new fuel compositions (nano-and microdispersion emulsions) and incorporation of wave treatment of explosive ingredients.
