Analysis of Microstructure of Ezplosive Welding of Ni-Ti Shape Memory Alloy

Ni-Ti Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) is a new functional material. The materials shape memory function in the heat affected zone often changes after traditional high-temperature melting weld is performed, which has affected the application scope of this functional material. In this experiment, the explosive welding technology of Ni-Ti SMA is studied by means of lower limit method and design of arranging explosive structure of rigid buffering layer. According to the results, the explosive welding has little effect on the chemical composition and structure of welding materials when checked by optical microscopy, SEM and EDS. The welding is excellent without any influence on materials function.
