Blasting Vibration Signal Comparative Analysis Based on Wavelet and Wavelet Packet Technology
This paper applies the wavelet and wavelet packets theories in noise filtering of signals, detail signals processing, signals decomposition and reconstruction to the same blasting vibration signals acquired from the basement rock blasting conducted in a city. The application and effectiveness from the two methods are compared. The results show that using wavelet packets technology to study the blasting seismic signals has more flexibility and reflects characteristics of blasting vibration signals in a more integrated way than using wavelet.
