Entrepreneurial Learning Based on Critical Incidents:Influences of Learning Styles
The critical incidents play an important role during the entrepreneurs learning process. The learning styles entrepreneurs adopt coincide with entrepreneurs learning performance, according to different critical incidents. This paper aims to check the learning performance of entrepreneurs with different learning styles under the circumstances of three kinds of critical incidents. The survey data from 145 Chinese firms indicates that, for the eruption and watershed critical incidents, entrepreneurs adopting exploration learning outperform those adopting exploitation learning, while entrepreneurs adopting whether exploration learning or exploitation learning doesnt make any significant difference for the catalyst critical incidents. The study is of much implication for entrepreneurs learning from critical incidents.
