Linking Perceived Organizational Support to Job Performance:The Mediating Role of Affective Organizational Commitment in Chinese Private High-Tech Enterprises

Using multiple regression analyses on a sample of 148 employees in Chinese private high-tech enterprises,the present study investigated the mediating potential Affeetive Organizational Commitment (AOC) on Perceived OrganiZational support (POS)-job performance relationship in a Chinese context. The results showed that the relationship between POS and AOC, job performance were significantly associated, and AOC mediated their effects on POS and job performance completely. Implications of these finding and limitations were provided.
