Real Time Fleet Management E-Business Systems-a Study on their Requirements and Tools

摘要：

This paper surveys real time fleet management (FM) e-business systems currently used by companies to manage their vehicle fleets. These systems enable fleet managers to manage and track their vehicles in terms of their scheduling, maintenance, and fuel optimization. Real time FM systems have the flexibility to meet changes caused by both internal and extemal factors. The links between intemal and extemal data processing systems, and the network between suppliers and partners are essential to better satisfy the needs and expectatious of customers Future system requirements to ensure the success continued company performance are discussed.
