On the facets of perceived risk online shopping and their origins--An empirical study in China

This paper attempts to identify types and origins of perceived risk when consumers shop online in China. Results show that the perceived risk online shopping are composed with different risks dimension but a single facet, which not only include product risk but also include product delivery risk, service risk, source risk etc, and the product performance risk and service risk influence consumers online shopping mostly. The research also indicates that consumer perceived risks are positively related to consumers age and their purchasing frequency. At last the implication of this paper is discussed.
