Research on the Relationship between Intellectual Capital and IT Industry Performance--The Moderating Role of Environment

摘要：

The empirical results show that the elements of intellectual capital have significant positive effect on the performance which proves the priority and nature of value creation of high-tech industry. Environmental munificence moderates negatively the relationship between human capital and performance and moderates positively the relationship between the process capital and performance. Environmental dynamics moderates negatively the relationship between human capital and performance. It is suggested that under the low munificent environment it is an effective way for the company to strengthen the human capital management and investment to respond to the severely competition. Under the high uncertainty environment, it is better way for companies to increase the investment in innovation, impel the innovation production to the market, maintain stable customer relationships to reduce the transaction cost in related with environment dynamics and then enhance the performance.
