Applying Enterprise Architecture in China E-Government: A Case of Implementing Government-Led Credit Information System of Yiwu
Enterprise architecture(EA)plays a key role in controlling the complexity and constant changes in the business environment of an organization, enabling a real alignment between the business and IT. Three most important EAs are reviewed briefly first. Then this paper presents a new e-government enterprise architecture(E-GOV EA). The new E-GOV EA integrates a set of perspectives, a set of business models, and a set of processes. The E-GOV EA helps government in the definition, design, and creation of e-government. Finally, we present a case study in which the E-GOV EA was applied in implementing government-Led Yiwu Credit Information System(YCIS), aiming at improving the adoption of EA in the context of China governments.
