An Ontology-based Adaptive Quality Evaluating Model for E-business Website
Evaluation of web service is the guideline for e-business companies to improve their quality of their websites. Most evaluating methods focus on using only the generic parameters, such as response time, successful execution rate and throughput, to measure the quality of websites. As a result, the returned results of the semeasurements might not satisfy the customers desired requirements. Domain-specific factors need to be considered carefully in order to improve the evaluating process and satisfy users. In this paper, a quality description ontology of e-business website is designed with domain-specific knowledge to guide the throughout evaluation process of websites quality. Then an evaluation model of websites is constructed according to the ontology with its evaluation process discussed in details. The using of ontology make it is adaptive to different domain, which means that it only needs to redefine parameters in ontology for different e-business websites.
