Empirical Study on Economic Growth Effect of FDI in Services in China

摘要：

Using panel data of seven industries, the paper analyzes economic growth effect of FDI in services in China by panel data model. The result shows that from the industry structure of services, the industries that have significant and positive economic growth effect include wholesale, retail trade and catering services, social services, education, health, culture, sports and entertainment The industries that have significant and negative economic growth effect include finance and insurance. The industries that have insignificant economic growth effect include transport, storage, post and telecommunication, real estate, scientific research and comprehensive technical services. Lastly the paper puts forward some suggestions.
