Heterogeneous human capital, FDI spillover and energy efficiency in China
Along with the economic growth, the shortfall of energy gradually become to the bottleneck blocking the economy in China. Therefore, government and manufacturers pay more attention to increasing the energy efficiency. Using time series data from 1985 to 2007, this article empirically tested the impacts on improving energy efficiency from FDI (Foreign Direct Investment), human capital and economy structure in China. Results showed that FDI and human capital have significant positive effects on increasing energy efficiency, while the proportion of Secondary Industry has significant negative effect In addition, mis article tested that, the human capital has significant positive effect on FDI technical spillover effect, while heterogeneous human capitals effect on FDI technical spillover effect has significant difference at different education level.
