Change in Industrial Structure and Difference in Chinas Regional Economic Growth--An Empirical Study Based on Provincial Panel Data

摘要：

Within the framework of endogenous economic growth, the author makes an empirical analysis of Chinas industrial structure and the differences in regional economic growth by establishing an empirical analysis model and using panel data of 28 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions from 1978 to 2006. The results show that change in industrial structure plays a significant role in promoting economic growth in eastern, central and western China, but with no significant regression to national sample, and significant negative impact on northeastern China.
