The Application of Green Supply Chain Management in Construction Industry
With the emphasis is increasingly placed on the natural environment by stakeholders, the environmental practices has been necessarily taken into consideration for one organizations strategic plans and its operations. Green supply chain management (GSCM) practices is an effective measure to improve the efficiency of environment management, while it is properly more important in the scope of construction industry. Based-on the definition and principles of GSCM, this paper founds the framework of GSCM in construction industry, analyzes the feasibility and the steps of GSCM which would be applied in the construction industry, finally, compares and analyzes the approaches between the GSCM of construction industry and the traditional construction management.
