Operating Efficiency Analysis of Chinas Dairy Enterprises Based on the DEA Model

In recent years, Chinas dairy industry has experienced great progress. But low operating efficiency has been the bottleneck of its development This paper has analyzed operating efficiency of dairy enterprises based on the model of C2R-DEA and C2GS2-DEA model, which has come to the conclusion that there is great gap among overall efficiency of different dairy enterprises. Meanwhile, only three enterprises overall efficiency has reached 1, which shows that overall efficiency of Chinas dairy industry is rather low and these enterprises have not made full use of resources. This paper uses the effective DEA decision-making as the reference sample and proposes corresponding plans for the improvement of Chinas dairy industry.
