Study on Regional Land Sustainable Use Evaluation Based on Ecological Footprint Model: A Case Study of Guangzi Zhuang Autonomous Region
Ecological footprint analytical method is a method for weighing the natural resources utilization degree by humanity, and weighing the life support service function which provides by nature for humanity,this method takes the synthetic measure to sustainable development condition from the ecological supply and ecological demand, calculates the ecological footprint by ecological demand, and calculates the ecological carrying capacity by ecological supply. By the contrast between ecological demand and ecological supply to judge whether the land use by humanity is in the scope of land ecological carrying capacity, whether has the security. This article takes the national ecological footprint model apply to land sustainable use condition analysis, and use the cap to calculate the ecological footprint of Guangxi district in 2004, from these aspects of supply and demand balanced situation, supply and demand structure and horizontal contrast between districts to carry out the quantitative analysis on Guangxi land sustainable use condition. The computed result indicates that deduct 12 percent of biodiversity protective area, actual ecological supply is 0.537 138 ghm2/cap, the per person ecological deficit in Guangxi reaches as high as 0.892 944 ghrn2/cap, the arable land and grassland ecological deficit are biggest, reach to 0.399 904 ghm2/cap and 0.336 616 ghm2/cap in respective, only the forested land and construction land have the ecological earnings, the ratio between ecological supply and ecological demand is 1 : 2.23, it indicates that the load of ecological economy system in Guangxi district is surpassed the threshold value of its land carrying capacity, the ecological situation is stern, must adjust the land system structure and function in Guangxi district, take the measures of protect environment, control the excessive use of construction land,strengthen the land consolidation to increase ecological productive land area. Through the scientific research, fund investment, management and develop the circulative economy to enhance the national ecological carrying capacity and enhance the land sustainable use ability in Guangxi.
