Severstal Columbus, a New CSP(R) Complez for High-Quality Steel in the USA-Plant Technology,Commissioning and Operational Results

摘要：

SeverCorr is the most modem facility for the production of high-quality flat rolled products in the USA. The greenfield plant went on stream in 2006/2007 and includes electrical steelworks, CSP(R) plant, combined pickling line/tandem cold mill and hot-dip galvanizing line. The processes and all production facilities have been optimized to achieve high steel quality and surface finishes. The ramp-up of Severstals Columbus CSP(R) plant was the fastest in the history of CSP(R). Already during commissioning, very good quality results were achieved.
