Production Technology for Quality Cold Rolled Sheets by BOF-CSP-CR Route
Maanshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (Masteel) is the first company in the world to build a BOF-CSP-cold rolling process in one collective project to produce cold-rolled and galvanized sheets. The technology research and product development based on the route were introduced in the paper. Over 75% of CSP hot rolled coils for cold-rolling and different product series such as electric steel sheets, automotive (home appliance) sheets and color coated sheets have been successfully developed. The properties and quality of the cold rolled sheets are good enough for different applications.
