Development and Application of Medium Carbon Steel Mold Powder of CSP CC

摘要：

In view of the features of medium carbon steel and the technical condition of the Hansteel CSP CC, the production practice indicates that the lubrication of the mold must be focused on when the heat flux is controlled.According to the research of relation between mold powder basicity and heat flux, the basicity of the mold powder should be controlled in the scope of 1.14～1.18. To improve the lubricating effect of mold powder, the special-added fused agent BaO was introduced. Production practice shows that the original design objective is achieved by the newly developed mold powder.
