Numerical Simulation of Temperature Field During Secondary Cooling of Thin Slab Continuous Casting
According with solidifying and heat transfer theory, two dimensional heating transfer mathematical models have been established, and the software of heating transfer has been developed. The thin slab temperature field at different casting condition was obtained by the software and Marc with considering the high casting speed and high secondary cooling density of thin slab, both of the simulation results can keep consistent. The temperature curve and temperature field at slab section were analyzed, and that the main factors affect the temperature distribution and shell thickness of the thin slab were obtained so as to optimize the technical parameter and temperature distribution and prevent the defect of thin slab.
