Application of IMS Thickness/Profile Gauge in Handan CSP Plant
The IMS thickness/profile gauge is very important for Handan CSP Plant. As one of the in-line equipment to detect thickness/profile of strips at the exit of the 6-stand finishing mill, it can measure the central thickness, crown,wedge and edge drop of strips. The system features good functions; its structure is complicated; and during operation some failures have occurred. Based on years of experience, the authors outline the gauge and summarize its application in CSP Plant.
