Numerical Simulation of Wind Environment around the Building with CFD Method
CFD method is adopted to simulate the distribution of the wind field around the asymmetricalbuilding and the influence of the building shape to the wind distribution. The pressure field and thevelocity filed around the asymmetrical filed are computed whit the finite volume method,and thecomputed results are contrasted with that of the symmetrical building. The simulated results shows thatthe distribution of the pressure filed and the velocity filed have different characteristic with that of thesymmetrical building. The differential pressure exists between the static pressure of the wind side andthe suction pressure of the back side. The suction pressure and the big turbulent flow area existing in theback side of the building cause negative influence to the discharge of the pollutant. The amenitystandard is satisfied when the wind velocity is less than 6m/s at pedestrian-level.
