Pressure Transient Analysis for Non-Newtonian Power-Law Fluid Flow in Double Porous Media and Fractal Reservoirs
This Paper presents a mathematical model for transient flow of the rlon-Newtonian power-lawfluid in double porous media and fractal reservoir.By using Douglas-Jones predictor-corrector method.we obtain the solution for the constant rate condition at a single well in an infinite reservoit. The flowbehavior is also analyzed.Finally,we discuss the pressure response to the various parameters. Theresults obtained in this study extend the previous pressure transient analysis for non-Newtonianpower-law flow in a fractal reservoir(pressure transient without matrix participation)to a double porousmedia fractal reservoir.Conventional model(homogenous reservoir)is a special case of this model.
