Numerical Simulations of Non-Newtonian Viscoelastic Flows Through Porous Media

Based on the microscopic governing equations at the pore scale,the volume averaging methodwas used to developed,at the macroscopic scale,the governing equations for the non-Newtonianviscoelastic flows through the porous media.We focus our work on the Oldroyd-B viscoelastic fluidwhich was simulated by the EVSS/SUPG FEM methods.Simulated results show excellent agreementwith the literature and these methods are stable and effective which can be Successfully used tosimulated the viscoelastic flows through the porous media.
