Ezperimental Study on Flow Rules in Crossflow Channels of High Permeability Sandstone Reservoirs
Low efficiency or inefficacy of waterflooding caused by crossflow has been the major problem to oil field development. However, there are still big limits in the study of non-Darcy flow both domestically and abroad, even less study on high speed non-Darcy flow. In this paper, we pursued a further experimental study on the non-Darcy flow rules of crossflow channels in high permeability sandstone reservoirs. According to the results, different formulas for different non-Darcy coefficients were established to fit different kinds of crossflow channels. Further, critical flow velocity between Darcy flow and non-Darcy flow was studied. The results are of both great theory value and practical importance.
