Goaf Numerical Simulation against Draining Gas with High Dip Tunnel
Through regarding mining face gas-drainage as porous-media seepage model, goaf gas flowlaw was studied through FLUENT numerical simulation software against draining gas by high diptunnels with different heights. The mathematical model of FLUENT simulation to drain gas waselucidated. Gas drainage effect of high dip tunnels with 5 different heights was applied at 14201working face of Shaqu Coal Mine, whose comparison results showed the best drainage height. Finally,field drainage was applied, whose results were basically consistent with simulation drainage results. Itindicates that studying gas drainage applying FLUENT simulation method is feasible and worthpopularizing.
