Numerical Analysis of Gas Drainage from Drilling in Coal Seams
Numerical simulation 3D model provided by FLUENT was used to establish the gas flow pattern of drilling drainage. The Darcy law is applied to simulate the gas seepage flow in coal seams. The effect of drainage pressure and the permeability of coal seams on the gas flow condition were analyzed. The simulation results agree well with the measurement value, so the simulation result can provide theory direction to gas drainage.
