Study on Seepage from High Permeability Location to Low for Improvement of Development Effect in Heterogeneous Reservoirs

Water-flooding mechanism in different injection-production ways was studied by core combined models, under four kinds of non-homogeneous model strategies. The mathematic flow model was established to reveal the characteristics of plane heterogeneous oil reservoir. Analytical solution of the model was obtained by integral transformation. The analysis of the model demonstrated that the whole reservoir pressure relief effect by injection from high permeability location to low is much better than injection from low permeability location to high, which can solve the quantitative problems and provide theoretical basis of seepage in plane heterogeneous reservoirs.
