Study on the Selection of Deformation Monitoring Profiles of Landslides Induced by the Fluctuation of Water Level of Three Gorges Reservoir

Under the conditions of water-impoundment and running of Three Gorges Reservoir, the sensitive degree of the change of displacement to the fluctuation of water level is different in different parts of a landslide induced by the fluctuation of water level. According to the relationship between different sensitive degree of monitoring displacement and quantity of monitoring information, the sensitive zones of displacement to the fluctuation of reservoir water level are divided into different degrees by the approach of fuzzy pattern recognition. By means of the numerical subarea regulation of the change of displacement of Xietan landslide, the general rules of the layout of deformation monitoring profiles are put forward. According to the rules, the layout of deformation monitoring profiles of Xietan landslide which is a case of landslides induced by the fluctuation of water level of Three Gorges Reservoir are given.
