Groundwater Level Forecast and Prediction of Songnen Plain in Jilin Province
Based on a great number of investigation, experiments and observered data of the study area, the hydrogeologic conceptual model and the groundwater flow simulation model, which is the quasi-three-dimensional groundwater flow system in the heterogeneous and isotropic medium, are established for the first time. The GMS(Groundwater Modeling System)software is adopted to simulate both the Quaternary unconfined and confined aquifers. Based on the model, the changing trends of the groundwater level under two different exploitation plans are forecasted for the year of 2010. Finally, the long-term plans and management methods are presented.
