Network approach for prioritizing drug candidate on gliomas
The efficient and quick evaluation system is needed in the high throughout screening of drug candidates for overcomingthe complex disease, but how to prioritize the efficacy of drug candidates remains unclear. We have established a so-called network-based screening for multicomponent synergy (NSMS)method to estimate the multi-component synergy1. In this work, we employ such a network approach and demonstrate its applicability in prioritizing chemicals for the treatment of gliomas, the most common primary tumor of brain coupling with the dysfunction of many signal transduction pathways (Fig. 1).
