High Precision Time Delay Estimation Based on Genetic Algorithm
In the paper, an efficient algorithm based on genetic for high precision time delay estimation is investigated. Objective function of optimum delay estimation via a least-squares-based method is acquired and converted into fitness function, where the time delay estimation parameter is considered as decision variable. The satisfactory solution for global optimization is obtained with proper genetic strategy and the time delay estimation is accomplished via global optimization solution. The proposed algorithm improves the robustness, reduces the computation and avoids the complex iteration of multiple steps. Finally, simulation experiment is given to illustrate the performance of the proposed algorithm.
