ASYMPTOTICAL STABILITY OF RANDOM EARLY DETECTION ALGORITHM FOR INTERNET CONGESTION PROBLEM
In this paper,a symbolic dynamical model is proposed for the analysis of the random early detection (RED) algorithm. Conditions for the RED algorithm to converge to a fixed point are derived. These results are useful for network engineers to design parameters and control laws so that the RED algorithm would converge to a fixed point.
