GALERKIN ITERATIVE METHOD FOR SOLVING TWO-DIMENSIONAL BRATU EQUATIONS WITH CONVECTION TERM
By using Galerkin finite element method, two-dimensional Bratu equations with covection term are studied at mixed boundary conditions. Two kinds of iterative methods-successive substitution method and Newtons method are obstained, and two kinds of iterative schemes are given, and error estimate is presented. The results of numerical simulation indicate that two kinds of iterative schemes are of high accuracy in calculation and few times and also are a kind of practical and effective numerical solution method.
