STABILITY OF PROPORTION-INTEGRAL OUTPUT FEEDBACK NCS WITH TIME-VARYING DELAY AND M ULTI-PACKET TRANSMISSION
Stability and controller design problems for networked control system (NCS) with multi-packet transmission and time-varying delay are studied. Various proportionintegral (PI) output feedback NCSs with multi-packet transmission, such as having time-varying delay and the dropped out packets, having time-varying delay and no dropped out packet, were modeled as asynchronous dynamical system (ADS) constrained by event rates. Based on the theory of asynchronous dynamical systems, the principle of Lyapunov stability and the method of linear matrix inequality, the negative semi-definite matrix conditions for exponential stability and the controller design of the PI output feedback NCS with multi-packet transmission were presented. Numerical examples show that the negative semi-definite matrix conditions of exponential stability and the controller design method are feasible.
