DEFECTS IN ONE-DIMENSIONAL HEXAGONAL QUASICRYSTALS
In this study a formulation on the elasticity problem of onedimensional hexagonal quasicrystals is presented. Based on the formulation and complex variable function method, some exact analytic solutions for defects, such as elliptic hole, cracks in static or dynamic state of quasicrystals are found. Some physical quantities related with the defects are determined which reveal the effects of coupling between phonon and phason.
