FREQUENCY-WEIGHTED BALANCED TRUNCATION METHOD: A LEAST-SQUARES APPROACH
In this paper, a new frequency weighted balanced reduction technique for single-sided frequency weighted model reduction problem is presented. The method is based on first approximately simultaneously block diagonalizing the Gramians of the augmented system realization Using least-squares technique. The original system part of the resultant realization is then balanced and truncated to obtain stable reduced order models. Numerical examples and comparison with other well-known techniques are also included.
