SPACE-TIME MATRIX METHOD BASED ON UCA FOR DIRECTION-OF-ARRIVAL ESTIMATION
This paper proposes a space-time matrix method to estimate the azimuth angles of multiple narrow-band signal sources impinging on the far field of a uniform circular array. Making use of the proposed method, the azimuth angles can be estimated by the eigenvalues or the corresponding eigenvectors of the space-time matrix. The statistics performance of the presented method is given. By simulations using MATLAB software, the theoretical and experimental mean square error curves are compared in relation to CRB. The results of numerical simulation shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.
