SIMPLE APPROACH FOR FUZZY CONNECTEDNESS IMAGE SEGMENTAION

The notion of fuzzy connectedness captures the idea ofhanging-together of image elements in an object by assigning the strength of connectedness to every possible path between every possible pair of image elements. The fuzzy connectedness object is defined with a threshold on the strength of connectedness. That makes the segmentation complex. This paper use the threshold on the affinity of every possible pair of image elements to be a preprocessing, overcome the need for compute the fuzzy connectedness.And apply the Reachability matrix or Spanning tree to segment the connective object. Then the experiments prove they have high segment quality and low complexity.
