THE CUT SETS, DECOMPOSITION THEORY AND REPRESENTATION THEORY ON a,b- FUZZY SETS

In this paper, the concept of a, b-fuzzy sets is introduced, it is a generalization of 0, 1-fuzzy sets presented by Zadeh. Then four kinds of cut sets of a, b-fuzzy sets are given, and it is shown that the cut sets of a, b-fuzzy set have the same properties with that of Zadeh fuzzy sets. Moreover,based on the cut sets of a,b-fuzzy sets, the decomposition theorems and representation theorems on a, b-fuzzy sets are obtained. Finally, the axiomatic definition of cut sets on a, b-fuzzy set is introduced.
