A new method for measuring the end error of the industrial robot

To measure the end error of industrial robots precisely is difficult. Aiming at the problem, the paper proposes a joint agency by means of an industrial robot and a measurement robot. This method is on the basis of comprehensive analyzing and systemic researching high-precision measurement robot and laser tracking and measuring system. Industrial robot can drive measurement robot to measure the end error in the whole working space of it automatically. The paper provides the frame chart of interaction measurement of the measurement robot driven by industrial robot, and the process chart of detection and compensation of the space error of industrial robots. The paper also provides a new theoretical and technical support for studying the measurement of the end error of industrial robots.
