Characteristic Analyses of Aspergillus Flavi from Soil
The manuscript analyzed characteristics of Aspergillusflavus strains from soil in Liaoning Province, which used Czapek Dox Agar (CZ) and rice medium respectively as isolation medium and toxic-producing media. Aflatoxin was detected by thin layer chromatographic. The results showed that A. flavus isolates were classified into S and L strains On the basis of sclerotial morphology. A.flavus L strains were predominant in the region. The range of water content in soil usually isolated A.flavus was from 5-13%. Most of L strain was non-aflatoxigenic strain, which illuminated A. flavus isolates were of low ability of virulence in soil in Liaoning Province.
