Director’s introductory speech to the International Conference
On behalf of the Institute of Education, I would like to thank President Zhong Binglin and our colleagues at Beijing Normal University for welcoming us here today, for hosting us so warmly and for leading the organisation of what looks like being an exciting and stimulating conference. We are honoured to have been able to work with you in bringing together colleagues from around the world to debate such important issues within the field of educational leadership. I believe more than 20 nations are represented here, and I have no doubt that the academic debate will be of the highest quality.
