A Study on the Gradient Refraction Indez Effect of the Firefly’s Ommatidium

摘要：

We found the configuration of the 190 parabolic layers of the fireflys ommatidium are composed of alternate structures with only two periodic refractive indices. The GRIN waveguide is also revealed by the proposed configuration.
