The analysis of characteristics and influent factors of NCD among asbestos mine workers
Objective: To explore the status and influent factors of the NCD among asbestos mine workers, and to provide basis for educational preventive methods. Methods: Collecting 515 useful questionnaires in the asbestos mine, the questionnaire includes ordinary personal information 、occupational characteristics、the status of NCD and of occupational health service. Results: There are 381 cases having at lest one kind of the NCD among the 515 cases, the incidence is 74%. The incidence of the NCD rises with the rise of ages and the length of working times. The leading five diseases are musculoskeletal system disease, digestive system disease, blood disease, sensory nervous system disease, respiratory disease. The main factors affecting the incidence of the NCD were income levels, working time and work methods. Conclusion: The incidence of the NCD among the asbestos mine workers is high.
