Applying Real Options Thinking to Innovation Decision Making in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises
This paper applies the real options thinking to innovation decision making problems in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises(SMEs),such as innovation type selection, appraisal of blue ocean idea,investment timing decisions,and ICT platform investment,etc.‘Real options thinking’provides a new insight into a firms innovation investment decisions which tends to rely on managerial experiences and intuitions.
