Applying Real Options Thinking to Innovation Decision Making in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

摘要：

This paper applies the real options thinking to innovation decision making problems in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises(SMEs)，such as innovation type selection， appraisal of blue ocean idea，investment timing decisions，and ICT platform investment，etc.‘Real options thinking’provides a new insight into a firms innovation investment decisions which tends to rely on managerial experiences and intuitions.
