Research on Organizational Design Capability and Designdriven Innovation of Manufacture SMEs in China

摘要：

This paper focuses on the emergence and development of organizational design capability and the status of designdriven innovation in Chinese manufacture SMEs.By adopting a six-stage frame about design capability for SMEs. It indicates that the emergence of design-driven innovation is linked to the current stage of enterprises’ design capability. The results of analysis suggest some appropriate upgrade path for Chinese manufacture SMEs to develop their design capability with condition of design-driven innovation.
